Meet The Author...
Jan Katzen-Luchenta
My goal as an
educator of young children
is to empower them with
every advantage to become
"unlimited learners."
The prepared environment at
home or at school includes
an array of challenging,
fun, and purposeful
activities with built in
controls of error that guide
the child towards
self-mastery and confidence.
The child's inner prepared
environment or nutritional
status is of equal
importance. Nutrition, as it
applies to learning,
behavior and mood, has been a
focus of mine for years.
While "following the child,"
I decided to scientifically
confirm my detailed
observations and
research
neuro-nutrition.
All of the current
nutritional studies point in
the same conclusive
direction; many nutrients
are implicated throughout
the life span to support
mental health and
deficiencies may prevent
conception, compromise the
neurological development of
the fetus, diminish a
child’s ability to learn,
impair mental health, and
cause cognitive decline
later in life.
